The Malayan Magic circle were a group of magicians who moved into Karikal Mahal after it was vacated by its original owner, Moona Kader Sultan. This was the place they used for their performances, right up til the moment the Japanese army invaded Singapore in World War II.
Part 2 inherited aspects of the softer, elegant look from Part 1, as it continued to be set in the grand estate of Karikal Mahal where they held their performances. With war at its doorstep, however, the tone would change, where the purpose of the mansion would once again be transformed into something else…
