Drive Safe is an SG Story micro drama, about a taxi driver’s journey as he relives a past trauma while lost with a passenger.
I worked closely with DP Jolinna Ang in naturally keeping the characters in the dark, while introducing some tension with green tones in the shadows that contrast against the tungsten from the tungsten street lamps.
As taxi driver Raj finds his way – both literally and metaphorically – we shift the green tones toward a more peaceful blue, a subtle nod to his newfound closure.
